Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the order of the 1st respondent dated 05.08.2010 in G.O.(Ms.)No.697, Home (Transport-5), Department and the consequential order of the 2nd respondent dated 17.06.2015 in R.No.22370/H1/2008 and quash the same only insofar as it relates to the petitioner.

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Though this writ petition is filed challenging the Government Order in G.O.(Ms).No.697 Home (Transport 5) Department dated 05.08.2010 and consequential order of the second respondent dated 17.06.2015, Mr.K.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner's representation is directed to be disposed of, by the respondents.
3. Under similar situations, this Court has also passed several orders directing the authorities to consider the representation of similarly situated persons and pass orders therein. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
