This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 595 days in filing the above appeal.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner Mr.K.Poomalai, would state that on account of administrative exigencies, the delay has occurred. In this regard, the learned counsel referred paragraph 4 to 6 of the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

3. It is the submission of Mr.N.Manokaran, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent that the appellant has not shown sufficient cause for condonation of delay. That apart, there is inconsistency in the averments in the affidavit.

4. However, considering the fact that though the claim was made for Rs.31,00,000/-, but the Tribunal has awarded Rs.60,00,000/- and also satisfied with the averments made in the affidavit, the delay is condoned.
