The petitions have been listed today for reporting compliance.

2. It is reported that the remuneration for the Advocate Commissioner has been paid by the petitioners and also by the second respondent/HR & CE.

3. The Advocate Commissioner also affirms receipt of the remuneration by both the parties.

4. Thus, it is hereby recorded that the order dated 6.4.2023 has been complied with.

5. At this juncture, Mr.R.C.Paul Kanagaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are complying with the condition of appearing before the Inspector of Police, Esplanade Police Station by staying in Chennai and they may be shown some leniency by modifying the condition with regard to their appearance before the respondent.

6. Accordingly, the condition imposed in clause (b) in the operative portion of the order dated 6.4.2023 with regard to appearance of the petitioners stands modified to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the first respondent police everyday at 6.30 pm for a period of one week and thereafter, every Saturday at 6.30 pm until further orders.

7. It is made clear that the rest of the order remains unaltered. 21.4.2023 ssk.
