O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the 3rd accused to quash the C.C.No.3476 of 2021 on the file of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2. This matter was referred to mediation by this Court, considering the nature of the dispute and the parties to the dispute. Before Mediator, the parties have settled the dispute and has entered into an agreement. As per the said agreement, the complainant in C.C.No.3476 of 2021 has agreed to withdraw the case. All the accused including the petitioner herein has paid Rs.12 lakhs to the complainant and same has been paid in two demand draft for Rs.6 lakhs each.

3. In view of the settlement arrived between the parties and the dispute is due to matrimonial discard, the interest of justice in C.C.No.3476 of 2021 on the file of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore is quashed in entirety.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed, since 2/4

the complaint is quashed, any look out circular against the accused persons if issued shall be withdrawn by the respondent police. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
