Heard Mr.S.Doraisamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Fakkir Mohideen, learned Standing Counsel accepting notice for the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has submitted the Application as early as on 07.11.2016, for appointment on compassionate grounds, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, for directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the aforesaid Application dated 07.11.2016.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the Application submitted by the petitioner dated 07.11.2016, for appointment on compassionate grounds, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
