Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceeding initiated pursuant to the charge memo dated 21.03.2015 bearing Na.Ka.No.7674/2014/Ke of the third respondent herein within a period of four weeks or any other time limit as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court. The writ petitioner was issued with the charge memo by the 3 rd respondent in proceedings dated 21.03.2015. The writ petitioner submitted his explanations on 15.04.2015 and an enquiry was also conducted by the enquiry officer and the report is yet to be received by the writ petitioner for submitting further objections/explanation on the enquiry report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that the charge memo was issued on 21.03.2015 and for more than two years, the matter is pending and due to the pendency, the writ petitioner is unable to get his terminal and retirement benefits. This apart, the writ petitioner was not allowed to retire from service on the date of superannuation and therefore, there is some urgency in disposing the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner. In view of this fact, the 1st respondent is directed to pass final orders on the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner in proceeding in Na.Ka.No.7674/2014/Ke dated 21.03.2015, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
