This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to forward the seized vehicle Mahindra Max Pick up Van bearing Registration No.TN 30 K3971, Engine No.GA 51 L 67607, Chase No.MAIZ G2 GAA51L 42783, Model 03.01.2006 to the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Athur.

2.Heard the learned counsel for both sides.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court cannot grant the relief as such sought for by the petitioner.

3.However, the petitioner is at liberty to file an application under Section 457 Cr.P.C. before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate. On receipt of any such application, the learned Magistrate is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.
