[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that her husband viz., Kamalraj, aged 33 years, went missing from 08.02.2021 and that the police have not taken effective steps to secure him.

2. On instructions, Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on a complaint given by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, a case in Pallikaranai P.S.Crime No.89 of 2021 has been registered for 'man missing' and investigation is in progress.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Madipakkam to monitor the investigation in Pallikaranai P.S.Crime No.89 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenu is secured, he shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Alandur, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders, with regard to the custody of the detenu.
