Taken for investigation on the directions of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvottiyur, is under challenge by the Accused.

2. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent states that the investigation so far conducted indicates that the land owned by Ashok Leyland claiming the land of one R.V.Mani an attempt was made to sell the land to the defacto complainant. The matter is under investigation.

3. This Court on considering the fact that the complaint is pending for more than three years directed the Investigation Officer to file a report within 45 days and file final report if there is any cognizable offence is made out. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
