ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 45(1) read with Sections 3, 4 and 8(5) of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002 in Crime No.59 of 2016 on the file of the Hon'ble Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, seeks anticipatory bail.

Having failed to attend the trial Court, the trial Court has issued Non Bailable Warrant against the petitioner. Instead of filing petition to recall Non Bailable Warrant, the petitioner is before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.

This Court, considering the above fact, is not inclined to entertain the anticipatory bail petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C and the remedy available to the petitioner is to file a petition under Section 70(2) of Cr.P.C.
