ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2024 in accordance with law within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that she purchased a plot bearing no.2, Salamedu Village, Villupuram Town ad-measuring 2400 sq.ft and the same has been registered as Document no.250/1985 at the Office of the SubRegistrar-I, Villupuram. In this regard, the petitioner has paid necessary fees and submitted an application for obtaining patta through the Village Administrative Officer, who in turn also verified the documents and recommended for grant of patta to the third respondent, who in turn, forwarded the petitioner's application to the fourth respondent to survey the land. Since the fourth respondent has failed to discharge his duty and till date no response is forthcoming from the fourth respondent, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

4.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
