ORDER

This petition has been filed directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2026 and to reinstate the petitioner and permit her to continue her studies. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, based on a fake letter sent by an unknown person, purportedly by one Kalind Kumar stating that the petitioner was not interested in pursing her education at SRM, Kattankulathur Campus, the petitioner was transferred to Modi Nagar campus, Delhi without her knowledge. Despite her explanation and the senior's admission of apology through a letter dated 20.01.2026, the first respondent pre-judged the matter and unilaterally decided to relocate the petitioner to their

Modi Nagar, Delhi campus. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents 1 & 2 on 25.02.2026 reiterating her willingness to continue at Kattankulathur, however, there was no response till date. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.

3.In response, the learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that, if the petitioner approaches the second respondent, namely, the Registrar, SRM-Institute of Science and Technology, appropriate orders will be passed and the petitioner would be re-transferred from the Modi Nagar Campus to Chennai Campus. It is further submitted that, till date, the petitioner has not been transferred to any campus, however, she is required to register for the second year. Hence, this Court may issue a direction to the petitioner to approach the second respondent to continue her studies at SRM- Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus. 4.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the second respondent, namely, the Registrar, SRM- Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such approach, the second respondent shall consider the petitioner's

request and permit her to continue her studies at the SRM- Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
