The landlord in R.C.O.P.No.8 of 2014 on the file of the Rent Controller cum District Munsif, Chengalpattu has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Rent Controller to dispose of the petition in M.P.No.3 of 2015 within the stipulated time.
2.The petitioner filed R.C.O.P.No.8 of 2014 for eviction on the ground of willful default and demolition and re-construction.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the Original Petition the landlord filed a petition in M.P.No.3 of 2015 under Section 11 (4) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act. Further, the learned counsel submitted that though the application was filed five months ago, the Rent Controller has not disposed of the same yet. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Rent Controller cum District Munsif, Chengalpattu, to dispose of the petition in M.P.No.3 of 2015 in R.C.O.P.No.8 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
