ORDER

The petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2025 regarding Retirement and terminal benefits and also family pension in the light the orders passed by the first respondent herein in G.O.(D) No.609 Municipal Administration and Water Supplies (MC 3) Department dated 17.10.2025 with all consequential service and monetary benefits within a time frame.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband was appointed as Sanitary Worker in a Village Panchayat which was subsequently absorbed in Greater Chennai City Corporation and retired from service. The terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband was not paid till date.

3. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made a representation dated 08.12.2025 before the second respondent for which there is no response till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
