The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2014 and forbear them from auctioning Shop No.729 by way of Tender or in any other manner situated at No.41, Gangai Amman Koil Street, Jafferkhanpet, Chennai - 83.

3. In view of the change of the policy of the Government in auctioning TASMAC Shops to individuals, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition, seeking for a mandamus forbearing the respondents from auctioning the TASMAC shop. The prayer has thus become infructuous.
