Respondents * * * PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the fourth respondent in proceedings letter No.Na.Ka.No.2646/2014, PA, dated 23.10.2014 and quash the same, direct the first and second respondents to regularise the petitioner's service by appointing the petitioner in the post of Anti-Poaching Watcher in the special time scale of pay by extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.76, Environment and Forest Department, dated 07.06.2010, in the light of judgment of this Court in a batch of writ petition in W.P.Nos.10654/2014 and consequential direction to pay salary with all consequential service benefits. * * * For Petitioner :

O R D E R

Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Government Advocate (Forests) takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Though the petitioner sought for a wider relief in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if his representation dated 16.10.2014 to regularise his service is considered within a stipulated period.

3. According to him, the petitioner has rendered more than 32 years of service in the respondent Department, but still he is yet to be regularised in the service.

4. In those circumstances, in view of the narrow prayer now made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2014 seeking for regularisation of service and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
