ORDER

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writs of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent Tahsildar to survey his house site with the help of the District Surveyor and fix the boundaries for his house site situated in Survey No.178/6 at Latchiyam Village (Patta No.74) with the help of the District Surveyor and fix the boundaries for the same.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given the representation as early as on 03.07.2017 and also paid the necessary fee for surveying his land, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2017 for surveying and demarcating his land and pass orders in accordance with law, within eight weeks' time.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2017 to survey his house site and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
