This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2018, pending on the file of the respondent police, within the stipulated time to be fixed by this Court and file the final report.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Megananthan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No.9 of 2018 has been completed as early as during March 2018 and the final report has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been filed before the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore on 17.03.2021. However, it has not yet to be numbered.

3. In view of the above, direction is issued to the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore to take the final report filed in Crime No.9 of 2018 on file and dispose the same at the earliest taking into consideration the merits of the case.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
