ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section294(b), 406 and 506(i) IPC, in Crime No.Not known of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.149 of 2020 is pending against the petitioner.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioners, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of four weeks from today and report before this Court on 09.07.2020.

5.Post the matter on 09.07.2020 for reporting compliance.
