ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 22.7.2013 in Cr.O.P. No.18239 of 2013, directed the respondent herein to complete the investigation in Crime No.2156 of 2012 and file final report as early as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ of that order. Alleging that the said order has not been

complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in Crime No.2156 of 2012, on completion of investigation, the case was closed as mistake of fact and RCS notice was also served on the petitioner.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the same, he is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if he is so advised.
