Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith remove the lock and seal (de-seal the premises) in respect of the premises at No.30, Pedariyar Koil Street, Broadway, Chennai - 1, so as to enable the petitioner to remove the goods, business articles and other essential needy commodities and material documents which are lying within the sealed premises on the basis of the representation dated 24.03.2017.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.) The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to remove the lock and seal made by the respondents for the unauthorised construction put up by the petitioner, only for the purpose of removing the movables which are lying in the sealed premises.

2. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and in view of the fact that the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that there is no objection for considering the prayer, we deem it fit to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to remove the movables belonging to him under the supervision of the officials of the respondents.

3. The aforesaid exercise will have to be done within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
