ORDER

The father of the petitioner was working as a Head Master in a Municipal Elementary School. His mother was also a Teacher. His mother died on 08.08.1988 and his father died on 02.01.2007 while he was in service. After the death of the mother, the father of the petitioner, had contracted second marriage. It is stated that the age of the second wife of the father of the petitioner is 50 years. The petitioner made a claim for compassionate appointment in his representation dated 31.12.2009 to the respondents. The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation has not been so far considered and hence, he has come forward with this writ petition.

2. Heard the submissions made on either side.

3. In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2009 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
