Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the relief of issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to declare the petitioner's probation within a time frame to be fixed by this court.

ORDER

The petitioner joined government service as a Field Surveyor on 24.01.2013 pursuant to the selection through TNPSC. The respondent by his order dated 27.01.2014 regularised the service of the petitioner. Subsequently, the petitioner made a representation dated 04.03.2015 requesting the respondent to declare his probation. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that his representation has not so far been considered by the respondent and hence, he has come up with this writ petition.

2. I have heard the submissions made on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner asked for a larger relief, the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner within a time frame.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner , this court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2015 on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
