Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue appropriate proceedings acknowledging the petitioner's admission to 1st year of MS (Orthopaedics) Course at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry and to do all the consequential processes enabling him to peacefully undergo the above said course from the academic year 2018-19 to 2020-21, in pursuance of admission to the aforesaid course and college granted by the fourth respondent herein.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer as sought in the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
