Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2017 in respect of rectification of errors in the Revenue records with regard to the lands measuring an extent of 0.76 acres in Survey No.115/1 and 0.09 acres in Survey No.115/2 of Tiyaranadurgam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue computerized patta, chitta and Village 'A' register extract to the petitioner.

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 29.08.2017, wherein and whereby, he sought for rectification of errors in
the Revenue records with regard to the lands measuring an extent of 0.76 acres in Survey No.115/1 and 0.09 acres in Survey No.115/2 of Tiyaranadurgam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue computerized patta, chitta and Village 'A' register extract to the petitioner.
3. It is stated that the petitioner has purchased the above said lands by way of a sale deed dated 18.10.2012, vide Document No.2115 of 2012 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Royakottai. It is further stated that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the said lands from the date of purchase. It is further stated that the above said survey numbers are wrongly classified as "Government Poromboke land". Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 29.08.2017, seeking to rectify the mistake crept in the Revenue records. However, the respondents have not considered the same. Hence, the present writ petition.

This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner 29.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 1st respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
