ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register the complaint dated 11.07.2015 and investigate into the matter.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner has wrongly mentioned the Police Station as Vellore Police Station instead of Paramathi Vellore Police Station.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint to the Inspector of Police, Paramathi Vellore Police Station, Namakkal District, who shall enquire into the same and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
