J U D G E M E N T (Judgement of the Court was delivered by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The writ appeal has been instituted challenging the writ order dated 23.12.2020 in W.P.No.12394 of 2020.

2. The learned counsel for the appellants Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Ltd. (TASMAC), would submit that pursuant to the judgement of the Full Bench of the High Court of Madras dated 24.01.2022 in W.P.MD.No.11806 of 2017, Rule 8 and 9 of Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in Shops and Bars) Rule, 2003 was amended.

3. In view of the amendments issued in the said G.O.Ms.No.17, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ appeal. Accordingly, the writ appeal stands disposed of. No costs.
