Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue necessary direction to the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action as against the 4th Respondent for having given continuous threats to the Petitioner and the Petitioner's two daughters by refusing to retransfer the properties bearing Survey No.157/2 to an extent of 3330 sq. ft. Plot and bearing Survey No.157/2 to an extent of 2910 sq. ft. situated at Perungudi, Madurai District and the properties mentioned in the sale deed dated 24.10.1983, in his name, based on the Petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2016 made to the 1st Respondent.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to take appropriate action as against the 4th Respondent for having given continuous threats to the Petitioner and the Petitioner's two daughters.

2. However, now almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
