Respondents Contempt petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondents for contempt of Court in willfully and deliberately flouting and disobeying the orders passed by this Court dated 28.11.2018 in W.P.No.27699 of 2018.

O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for contempt of Court in willfully and deliberately flouting and disobeying the orders passed by this Court dated 28.11.2018 in W.P.No.27699 of 2018.

2. This Court on 28.11.2018 had passed an order to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2018 and pass orders after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent therein. Accordingly, the District Collector had issued notice to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent therein and passed an order dated 06.08.2019 in Na.Ka.No.J1/223/2019 after detailed enquiry.

3. No doubt the order was passed not within the time frame stipulated by this Court. However, as the order dated 28.11.2018 has already been complied with, the contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed, it is open to him to take appropriate action in the manner known to law.
