Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent pertaining to the Notification dated 12.8.2011 for recruitment to the post of Supervisor Trainee (Engineering), Supervisory Trainee (Finance) and Assistant Officer (HR) Gr II and quash the same as illegal and direct the 1st respondent (i)to withdraw the approval granted vide Ref.No.AA:PER:R:POL dated 06.05.2005 to recruit Supervisor Trainee through all India selection; (ii)to allow the Unit Managements to recruit unit wise for the posts falling under the purview of Unit Management in accordance with the BHEL Recruitment Rules and Employment Exchange (Compulsory Notification)

Act, 1959 and in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Apex Court; (iii)to strictly adhere to the relaxation in eligibility conditions for reserved candidates and dependents of the deceased employees of BHEL, in accordance with Supreme Court Direction i.e. 10% lower than the eligibility prescribed for the General Candidate and (iv)to declare that the age relaxation given to the experienced candidates is unconstitutional and impermissible in law.
