ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2025 on merits and to pass orders.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he joined the Armed Police Service in Tiruppur on 02.12.2018. The petitioner is alleged to have involved in a criminal case of murder and a case in S.C.No.174 of 2022 was tried against the petitioner and 11 others before the District and Sessions Court at Krishnagiri. In view of the criminal case pending against him, the petitioner was temporarily suspended from service on 16.02.2022 and thereafter, he was dismissed from service on 04.09.2024. Subsequently, his name was struck off from the service record with effect from 17.09.2024. Fortunately, the petitioner was acquitted from the criminal case. Thereafter, the petitioner had approached the respondents to reinstate him into service. The petitioner had also submitted his representation dated 19.09.2025 to the respondents, but the same was not considered to date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking a mandamus.

3. Since the limited prayer in this writ petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent concerned to dispose of the representation of the petitioner and to pass orders in the manner known to law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
