O R D E R

The present Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking to issue suitable directions to the Rent Controller (Principal District Munsif) Chidambaram too dispose I.A. No. 57 of 2015 in RCOP No.3 of 2014 within a stipulated time of two weeks.

2. The petitioners have filed the main petition for eviction of the respondent, on the ground of wilful default in payment of rent and for personal occupation of family members of the petitioners. The petitioners also filed an Interlocutory Application in I.A. No. 57 of 2015, seeking to direct the respondent to deposit the arrears of rent. According to the petitioners, the court below without disposing the Interlocutory Application, has merely adjourned from time to time and has posted the main petition for arguments. However, the main RCOP has not been taken up for arguments.

3. Considering the above submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to direct the Rent Controller (Principal District Munsif) Chidambaram, to dispose of I.A. No. 57 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
