ORDER
The petitioner, who is the husband of the respondent, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the III Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.3605 of 2010 within a stipulated time.
2. The petitioner filed the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.3605 of 2010 for divorce on the ground of desertion.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that though the Original Petition is pending from 2010, the Family Court has not disposed of the same yet. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of long pendency of the Original Petition, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.
4. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the III Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.3605 of 2010 on merits and in
accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
