Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents in particular the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action against the 9th respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2022 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition for a direction to the respondents particularly the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action against the 9th respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2022. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 8 as well as learned Government Advocate appearing for the 9th respondent and perused the materials on record.
3.By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 8 as well as learned Government Advocate appearing for the 9th respondent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 4.According to the petitioner, he owns agricultural land comprised in Survey No.116/4, at Podhatturpet Village, Pallipattu Taluk, Thiruvallur District. Adjacent to his land, in Survey No.117, the 10th respondent has undertaken a housing project in the agricultural land violating the Government rules and regulations. The 10th respondent colluding with the 9th respondent has laid cement road in the agricultural land to sell the housing plots. Further, the 9th respondent's project of
rainwater storage scheme and sewerage is being carried out in Survey Nos.116/2 & 116/3, which was not at all mentioned in the tender notification. There was mass protest from the public with regard to the construction of rain water storage and sewerage. Hence, the project was abandoned in the middle of the construction, due to which, the drainage water has been stagnated in the agricultural lands. In view of the same, the petitioner made representations dated 11.11.2021 and 17.01.2002 to the respondents. Since no action was taken by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 5.Mr.R.Kumaravel, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 8 submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on merits within the time frame fixed by this Court.
6.Considering the above submission, without deciding the issue on merits, the 5th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
