O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition to relax the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.5957 of 2020 dated 21.03.2020, that the petitioner shall stay at Sangagiri and report before the Town Police Station, Sangagiri at daily 10.30 a.m., and 5.30 p.m, 1/4

until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.5957 of 2020 dated 21.03.2020, that the petitioner shall report before the Town Police Station, Sangagiri at daily 10.30 a.m., and 5.30 p.m, until further orders. He further submitted that due to Covid-19 the lodges were closed in Sangari, he has been staying in his friend's house for the past 22 days and he has been facing several difficulties in day to day life. Therefore, he seeks to relax the above condition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation with regard to the petitioner is almost over and he is regularly complying with the condition. He would further submit that there is a possibility of threat to the petitioner, therefore opposed to allow the petitioner to stay in Thiruppur. 2/4

In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the above condition imposed by this Court is relaxed and that the petitioner shall report before the Town Police Station, Sangagiri at 10.30 a.m., on every Sunday, until further orders and also petitioner shall not visit Thiruppur. The other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered. Accordingly, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
