..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the 4th petitioner dated 06.12.2019, 22.12.2025 and 26.02.2026 and thereby evolve a methodology to conduct a Special Test to those who have completed their Diploma through Distance Education, so as to validate their diploma, as was done to the Degree holders as per the direction issued by the Honourable Supreme Court vide SLP No.19807-19808 of 2012 dated 03.11.2017 and thereby allow the petitioners 1 to 3, for further promotions from the date of obtaining their Diploma on par with their junior. ORDER
The petition has been to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the 4th petitioner dated 06.12.2019, 22.12.2025 and 26.02.2026 and thereby evolve a methodology to conduct a Special Test to those who have completed their Diploma through Distance Education, so as to validate their diploma, as was done to the Degree holders as per the direction issued by the Honourable Supreme Court vide SLP No.19807-19808 of 2012 dated 03.11.2017 and thereby allow the petitioners 1 to 3, for further promotions from the date of obtaining their Diploma on par with their junior. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that for the very same relief, the petitioners had earlier filed a writ petition in W.P.No.1002 of 2022 before this Court. This Court, by an order dated 02.12.
2025, dismissed the said writ petition and directed the petitioners to go before the AICTE. Suppressing the same, this Writ Petition has been filed. 3.Since, once again, the very same relief has been sought for by the petitioners before this Court, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed. No costs.
