Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 20.03.2018 in Memo No.161/BCDFGISSSV/2018 against the petitioner's husband Chinna Appunu @ Pradeep Kumar, Male aged 28 years, S/o.Sugumar, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal II, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] Petitioner is the wife of the detenu, Chinna Appunu @ Pradeep Kumar S/o.Sugumar, who has been branded as "Goonda" under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in BCDFGISSSV No.161/2018 dated 20.03.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that the detention order passed against the husband of the petitioner in BCDFGISSSV No.161/2018 dated 20.03.2018 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.1824, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 11.05.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
