Respondent Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 29.04.2014 and issue the transfer Patta in favour of the petitioner deem to fit and proper circumstances of the case. For Petitioner : Mr.G.Ranganathan For Respondent : Mr.V.Subbiah Special Government Pleader.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that she is the absolute owner of the property admeasuring to an extent of 0.35 cents out of the total extent of 1.03 cents comprised in Old Survey No.390/1 and New Survey No.390/1B, Sirukalathur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District by virtue of the registered settlement deed bearing Document No.5425/2009, on the file of the Sub Registrar, Kunrathur, executed by her father. The petitioner, thereafter, approached the respondent for transfer of patta and change of sub-division in her name by means of an application/representation dated 29.04.2014 and since, it has not been disposed of, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.G.Ranganathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondent.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the representation/application dated 29.04.2014, submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
