Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to grant police protection for the property of the petitioner by following the judgment dated 19/02/1962 in O.S.No. 1071/1961 on the file of IV Asst. City Civil Court, Chennai by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18/03/2024.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant police protection for the property of the petitioner by following the judgment dated 19/02/1962 in O.S.No. 1071/1961 on the file of IV Asst. City Civil Court, Chennai by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18/03/2024. 2.Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is not available with the respondents. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that if fresh representation is made by the petitioner, the same will be enquired and a decision will be taken with regard to providing police protection.

4.Considering the submissions made by learned Additional Public

Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent. The 3rd respondent, on receipt of the same, shall conduct an enquiry by issuing notice to all the interested parties and also in line with the judgment of the Civil Court in O.S.No. 1071 of 1961 passed by the learned IV Asst. City Civil Court, Chennai, dated 19.02.1962 and take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks.
