O R D E R

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the Police Officials, who registered the FIR, have seized the documents, including the Driving License of the petitioner.

2. The Driving License was produced before the Regional Transport Officer (RTO), who in turn has to take a decision in consonance with the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the Authorities Competent issued a show cause notice to the writ petitioner with reference to the incident occurred and therefore, an enquiry is to be conducted in the manner known to law.

4. That being the factum, the Licensing Authority/Regional Transport Officer is directed to look into the issues and take decision by

following the procedures as contemplated as expeditiously as possible with reference to the claim of the writ petitioner for return of Driving License.
