JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) State preferred the present appeal challenging writ order dated 14.03.2022 passed in W.P. No.4660 of 2022.

2. The first respondent instituted writ proceedings challenging the Tentative Seat Matrix for M.B.B.S. Course in Self-Financing Medical Colleges under Management Quota for 2021-2022 Session insofar as it allots all seats in minority institutions for minority category candidates and for a consequential direction to respondents 1 to 3 therein to adopt the seat matrix for M.B.B.S. Courses in Self-Financing Medical Colleges

under Management Quota for 2020-2021 Session for the academic year 2021-2022.

3. On account of efflux of time, the issues raised in the present writ appeal lost their relevance since academic session is already over. However, learned counsel for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent may be granted liberty to pursue her remedy against the private respondents to redress her existing grievance. If any such grievance exists, it is open to the first respondent to pursue the remedy in the manner known to law.

4. With the above observations, the writ appeal stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
