This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register the FIR as per the order dated 1/4

22.01.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.4935 of 2023 by the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Alandur, Kanchipuram District. 2.The petitioner filed petition under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Alandur, Kanchipuram District and the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Alandur, Kanchipuram District vide order dated 22.01.2024, directed the respondent to conduct enquiry within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order and further directed to register an FIR if the inquiry discloses commission of cognizable offences and since the same was not complied with, the petitioner has filed this petition. 3.Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the law enforcing agency filed petition before the Trial Court seeking extension of 20 days time for complying with the order.

5.Irrespective of the petition seeking extension of time filed by 2/4

the law enforcing agency before the Trial Court, this Court directs the respondent to comply with the order dated 22.01.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.4935 of 2023 by the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Alandur, Kanchipuram District, within a period of twenty (20) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
