This writ petition is filed to quash the letter No.31799/AA2/2015-2 dated 06.01.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to declare the petitioner to have completed the probation period with effect from 03.08.1999 AN and allow all consequential benefits to the petitioner. It is reported by the last date of adjournment, i.e., 22.01.2024 that the petitioner is no more and steps will be taken to implead the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner. However, no such steps are taken. This issue raised by the petitioner pertains to the year 1999 and more than 25 years have already been lapsed. Perhaps none of the legal representatives of the petitioner are not interested to prosecute and proceed with this case any more. Today, this matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal". Even on an earlier occasion there was no representation on Page No.2 of 4

behalf of the petitioner. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Costs made easy.
