Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus,directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioners representation dt 6.4.2015 and issue the natham patta for southern side in S. No.93 and adjacent to the northern side of the S. No.116/7 sub division 103A to the extent of 12 x 57 sq.ft.totally 684 sq.ft. in favour of the petitioner.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that after the demise of his grandfather, petitioner, along with his father and brothers, were in possession of the property comprised in S.No.116/7, Sub Division No.103 A, situated in Seerapalli Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and it is classified as natham poramboke and he submitted an application praying for issuance of patta and since, he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Rajakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 06.04.2015, submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
