ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a resolution was passed by the Panchayat and the Deputy Superintendent of Police has also recommended for erection of the statue of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. The Revenue Divisional Officer has also consented for the same. The petitioner has given a representation, however, the same is not attended to.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the representation of the petitioner was considered and the request of the petitioner was rejected. Learned Special Government Pleader further submits that, subsequently, Government Order No.183, dated 23.5.2017, is also issued.

4. It is for the persons aggrieved to take appropriate steps in accordance with law with regard to the order rejecting the request for installation of the statue.

5. In the light of that, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
