Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 03.04.2018 and dispose of the same forthwith.

3. It is stated that the petitioner and others entered into an agreement with Chandran on 22.07.2002 for running the Cable TV. It is further stated that the first respondent allotted L.C.O No.22665 to Chandran. It is further stated that the petitioner gave a representation dated 03.04.2018 to the first respondent seeking for inclusion of his name in L.C.O No.22665. However, the first respondent has not included the petitioner's name in the said L.C.O.No.22665. Hence, the present writ petition is filed before this Court seeking for the relief as stated supra.

4. Heard both sides.

5. This Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
