Crime No.28 of 2020 Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to return the petitioners vehicles bearing Nos.TN 93 B 4038, TN 56 B 4659 and TN 93 5469 which were seized in respect of the Crime No.28 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Ammapettai Police Station, Erode District.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for release of the vehicle that was seized by the respondent police.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. In the considered view of this Court, the petitioners have to necessarily move the petition before the Principal District Court, Erode seeking for release of the vehicles and the petitioners cannot directly come before this Court. This petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to file an appropriate petition before the Principal District Court, Erode and the learned Principal District Judge, Erode shall deal with the same and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible.
