O R D E R

The plaintiff in O.S.No.3701 of 2015 on the file of the IV Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the trial Court to dispose of the application in I.A.No.9248 of 2015 within the stipulated time.

2.The plaintiff filed a suit in O.S.No.3701 of 2015 for permanent injunction.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the plaintiff filed the application in I.A.No.9248 of 2015 under Order 39 Rule 1 & 2 of the Civil Procedure Code seeking for interim injunction on 30.06.2015. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the trial Court posted the application for hearing on 20.07.2015. That apart, the learned counsel also submitted that in view of the pendency of the application, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the IV Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, to dispose of the application in I.A.No.9248 of 2015 after giving opportunity to the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : No 15.07.2015 Internet : Yes va To The IV Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai.
