ORDER
The instant writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to remove the seal in the petitioner's premises at No.22,23, Narasingapuram Maiin Road, PPL SCSS Tower, Door No.13-F, Maduvangarai, Guindy, Chennai 600 032, in pursuance of the representation dated 05.01.2015.
The case of the petitioner before us is that the deviation, as pointed out by the Corporation, in the building in question, has been removed. At present, the premises, as a whole, is strictly in accordance with the permission granted by the authorities. Despite removal of deviation, the authorities are continuing with locking and sealing of the premises. Hence, this writ petition.
The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, relying on the counter affidavit dated 03.03.2015 filed by the third respondent, submits that the building was locked and sealed as the deviation continued in the premises. Thereafter, it was kept open for some time pursuant to the order of this Court, to facilitate removal of stocks in the premises. Now, since it is stated by the petitioner that all the deviations in the premises in question have been removed and the premises is strictly in accordance with the permission granted by the authorities, we direct the authorities to have an inspection of the premises in question in the presence of the petitioner to verify as to whether the notified deviations have been removed. If it is found that the premises is in order, the lock and seal shall be removed. Such exercise shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
