The summons signed by Executive Magistrate on 18.01.2024 calling the presence of the petitioner herein on 22.03.2024 to show cause why action should not be taken against him under Section 122 (1) (b) of Cr.P.C., for breach of bond executed by him under Section 110 of Cr.P.C., is under challenge in this petition.

2. This Court on perusing the impugned summons finds that it is bereft of details and there is no information when the bond was executed and whether it is still in force. Therefore, on that score, the impugned summons is liable to be quashed. Accordingly, it is quashed.

3. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
